In this painting, ADME mixed both both Western (Fauvism) and Eastern (Chinese calligraphy) influences combined in a modern Chinese painting style.
The original idea was to paint a small town at night (roofs) enlighted by the moon, but then the artist decided to reverse the colors from the original vision, the dark of the night will then be translated into a light bink while the moon's light reflection will be described on black-grey scale.

This painting is a landscape format: 18x24 inch (60x46cm).
